Application Instructions:
Decals have a top layer referred to as transfer tape and a bottom layer referred to as backing. For best results, apply decals in dry environment with temperature at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
STEP 1: Clean the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Do not use Windex or similar products because it will leave a residue and prevent the decal from adhering well. Make sure the surface is clean and free of any debris. Wait for the surface to dry before continuing to the next step.
STEP 2: Using a flat surface, prepare the decal for application by firmly rubbing a squeegee or credit card across the top of the decal several times. This removes any air bubbles that may have formed and makes the decal cling to the transfer tape.
STEP 3: Measure from left to right and top to bottom to center for proper alignment. When your decal is where you want it, apply a strip of masking tape along the top edge, this will create a hinge like effect. Then peel the white grid paper backing off the decal. If the decal clings to the paper backing, slowly replace the paper backing and rub across the decal again with a squeegee or credit card. DO NOT allow the decal to touch the surface.
STEP 4: Start at the top, slowly lowering the decal onto the surface and rubbing it in place firmly then rub across the decal with a squeegee or credit card multiple times to ensure it is sticking to the surface.
STEP 5: Slowly peel the transfer tape off at an 45 degree angle holding the tape as flat as possible to the surface. Be careful not to pull the sticker off the surface. If any of the letters pull away from the surface put the tape back down and squeegee the surface again.
